Hi, I am RAZAN from Beirut, and I am a singer.
What are your fondest childhood memories?
My favourite memories of our family gatherings.
When and how did you get into singing? Who inspired you?
I started singing when I was 16 years old. My family was always supporting me and then one of my brothers introduced me to an opportunity to sing a song on the stage.
How would you describe your music style?
I have a versatile music style. I can sing across various genres, with a particular proficiency in tarab. My vocal range allows me to emulate the voices of renowned artists like Asala and Sherine, among others. This flexibility enables me to explore and deliver a diverse musical experience for my audience.
Tell us about your latest single.
My latest single is a Lebanese dramatic song that delves into the theme of a toxic and challenging relationship. The lyrics portray a narrative of a relationship that seems impossible to salvage from all perspectives. The song captures the complexities and struggles associated with such relationships, offering a poignant exploration of the emotional dynamics at play.
Walk us through some of your best works?
I’ve been fortunate to participate in numerous concerts, sharing the stage with esteemed class A artists. In 2021, I marked a significant milestone by releasing my debut original single. Currently, I’m gearing up for the release of my upcoming song titled “Ma Bechbahak” on February 16, 2024, and I’m excited to unveil something truly spectacular for the summer.
What was your best video so far?
My most outstanding music video to date is “Aasabi Taabani,” skillfully directed by the talented director Kifah Ballani.
Any new projects you are working on?
As mentioned before, I have an upcoming project where I’ll be unveiling a new song on February 16, 2024. The song delves into the theme of toxic relationships, delivering a dramatic narrative. Additionally, I have something special for the summer that promises to be truly exceptional.
What are some of your hobbies?
Activities such as dancing, singing, and working out at the gym are some of my favorite pastimes.
Three things that make you happy?
Finding joy in sleeping, shopping, and traveling are three things that bring me happiness.
Your favourite quote (s)?
The concept of “doing good and receiving goodness in return” is one of my favorite quotes.
What is your motto in life?
My approach to life involves living each day as if it was my last.
What has been the proudest moment of your life?
I consistently take pride in myself, with each moment contributing to my sense of accomplishment.
What is your dream or what would you like to achieve?
My dream is to have my own business and to be famous and I would like to get people love me as an artist.
What other secret talents do you have?
I have a secret talent for imitating various artists.
What is your fitness and beauty routine?
My routine includes going to the gym for physical exercise, and I also prioritize a daily skincare routine to maintain the health and appearance of my skin.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would describe my fashion style as a blend of feminist empowerment and feminine allure, aiming to express both aspects simultaneously.
