Tell us about your education.
I graduated in 2006 with a General Medicine Bachelor degree in the Slovak Republic.
How and when did you get interested in the medical field?
As a child, I’ve always loved playing as a doctor and the idea of treating people. My mother had a dream of being a doctor, so I set out to fulfill her dream. I have now been practising 13 years.
What is the biggest misconception about your field?
Some patients lack respect for fellow doctors, nurses and the profession. They prefer being treated in private clinics or abroad instead of in governmental institutions. Some refuse to commit to doctors’ suggestions for treatment.
What are your plans?
To spread awareness among the population about adopting a healthier lifestyle, healthy diet, the importance of physical activity, and to control chronic diseases.
What’s your personal style, and what do you do to keep in shape?
I do my best to have a healthy lifestyle and diet. I exercise five days a week for at least an hour, drink two litres of water per day, and eat healthy food full of fibre, vegetables and fruits.
What is your beauty regime?
I have a deep facial clean once a month in a dermaclinic. I make sure I clean my face of make-up before bed, and I usually scrub my face and body once or twice a week and use high hydrating creams for my skin. I also apply a face mask twice a week.
